Asn Ala Tyr Lys Lys Gly Glu
Marionet premieres the show “Asn Ala Tyr Lys Lys Gly Glu” next Friday, the 28th, at 9:30pm and 11pm, at the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra.
After “Mr Chimpanzee” and “Flies are mice that fly“, Marionet and the Science Museum are once again collaborating to create a play performed by scientific researchers and presented at the European Researchers’ Night.
“Asn Ala Tyr Lys Lys Gly Glu” is the product of the imagination of the team involved in the project and is the result of an initial challenge to try to cross science and sport. In the process of discussing and creating the work, there was a sequence of amino acids that became central and part of that sequence ended up becoming the title of the piece. “Asn Ala Tyr Lys Lys Gly Glu” is a very special protein. It was synthesised by scientists in a theatrical laboratory and, like endorphin, causes feelings of pleasure, well-being and sometimes euphoria.
The premiere will take place next Friday, 28 September, at 9:30pm and 11pm at the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra.
