We participated in Fórum Esfera(s)

On 27 and 28 October, the first edition of Fórum Esfera(s) was held at Convento São Francisco in Coimbra, bringing together topics such as arts and culture, education, sustainability, and social responsibility.

 

This event, organised by the Rectory of the University of Coimbra and attended by the Minister of Culture and the Mayor of Coimbra, welcomed a wide range of experts on those topics, with the following main goals:

• to raise awareness of the importance and role of the arts in creating new skills;
• to balance technological, personal and cultural development;
• to train students, teachers, artists and creators in the importance of developing sustainable artistic practices;
• strengthen the civil commitment and social responsibility of the new generations.

 

Marionet was invited to contribute and was represented by Mário Montenegro, our Artistic Director, who together with Isabel Craveiro, President of the company O Teatrão, organised the workshop “Thinking / Acting, Using the Body”.
