"Lives of the River" was a success

After dozens of hours of rehearsals, field trips, lab classes, and conversations, last Saturday we premiered “Lives of the River“.

 

In two packed sessions, children from the Solum Sul EB1 class took to the stage of the Black Box of the Convento São Francisco’s with great success. With their commitment, they inspired other children, but also adults, making the audience aware of the need to preserve and recover urban rivers and their ecosystems.

 

This was another show included in the CresceRio project, with which Marionet, once again, stimulated the crossing between Theatre and Science, in this case with an especially marked pedagogical component.

 

Finally, as we were very well accompanied during this work, we must again thank our partners: MARE/ARNET – University of Coimbra, Department of Life Sciences, Department of Biology of the University of Aveiro, PROAQUA and the Convent São Francisco.
