Full house at the last LTcC of 2024
Yesterday’s reading was another success, following on from the previous ‘Reading Theatre with Science’ sessions. A group of 25 people gathered at Marionet to enter the universe of scientist Jacob Bronowski, whose mysterious room in his house was the motto for David Byrne’s play ‘Secret Life of Humans’.
Throughout the text, and also in the informal conversation that followed, we touched on some ethical issues, sometimes linked to important scientific and technological advances. Accompanied by a selection of teas and appetising vol-au-vent, this meeting was a lovely way to end the day.
‘Reading Theatre with Science’ is a bi-monthly activity and will return on 22 January, at 6pm, but this time at Atelier Semente (Coimbra Major Seminary). See you there!
