World Theater Day at Colégio São Teotónio

On March 27th we celebrated World Theatre Day with students from the Performing Arts Professional Course, at Colégio São Teotónio. This is an institution with which we have been strengthening ties through various partnerships, such as hosting trainees from the school in the areas of interpretation, technique and production.

 

Together with several partners that also work with theatre in our city (Trincheira Teatro, Casa da Esquina, and A Escola da Noite), we participated in a conversation mediated by Hugo Inácio, one of the teachers of the Course, where we talked about Marionet’s activity, explained our history of more than 20 years, and debated Coimbra’s current cultural panorama.

 

Unfortunately, still with no presentation space to call our own, this was yet another year when we could not celebrate this very special day on stage, a situation with which we have lived since the beginning of the company.
