Today we premiere "The Catastrophist"

Ever since 2022, following the public reading we held at Marionet, we knew that one day we would stage ‘The Catastrophist‘. This play by Lauren M. Gunderson introduces us to a virologist specialising in pandemics who appears to be very certain of things, yet also harbours a host of doubts. Such is human nature (and that of viruses, too…).

 

Between today and Sunday, pop along to the Teatro da Cerca in São Bernardo to catch one of the performances. Immediately after the final show, there will be an informal talk on the themes of the play, which will be open to everyone, whether or not they have seen the performance. See you soon!…
