We already to work on the project "The Expression of Emotions"

We’re already preparing our next project which will premiere in Coimbra next November, 2014. It’s about the expression of emotions.

 

The basic idea is to create an experimental device to induce the audience’s perception and provoque its reflexion about the ways we communicate and express ourselves, about the differences between the expression of an emotion and a emotional state, about everything we construct on what we think the other is feeling. Are we still able to recognize basic emotions? Which are the signs of sentiment we draw from a few lines of chat? And of a computational image of the other? How do we recognize the other?

 

Along with the preparation of the stage play, we are developing a parallel project coordinated by the photographer Susana Paiva, LabX – eXperimental Photography Lab.
