Marionet supported by the Directorate General for the Arts under the Sustained Support Programme 2023-2026

The final decision regarding the call in the area of Disciplinary Crossing (Creation) of the Sustained Support Programme 2023-2026, to which Marionet applied last July, was released today by the Directorate General for the Arts. We are very pleased to share that Marionet was one of the selected entities for Sustained Support in the quadrennium that now begins.

 

This support is a result of Marionet’s unique work in Portugal — intersecting performing arts and science. We are also very happy to see other Coimbra’s entities having their applications approved, such as Casa da Esquina (Disciplinary Crossing), A Escola da Noite (Theatre), O Teatrão (Theatre), Jazz ao Centro Clube (Programming), Orquestra Clássica do Centro (Programming), CAPC (Visual Arts) and Encontros de Fotografia / CAV (Visual Arts).

 

Coimbra has important entities creating and promoting cultural heritage and that is reflected on these results of the Directorate General for the Arts.
