We'll take part in Encontro Ciência 2024
From 3 to 5 July, the Science Meeting 2024 will take place at the Alfândega Congress Centre (Porto), under the motto “+Science for One Health and global well-being”. On the first day, at 2:30pm in Sala do Laboratório, our artistic director Mário Montenegro will take part in the session “Urban nature for a healthy and sustainable society” with the communication “Theatre as a means of promoting public awareness of the rehabilitation of urban rivers”, focusing on the promotion of CresceRio. This project was created in 2018 by MARE – Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre, in partnership with Marionet, with the aim of bringing the school community closer to the aquatic ecosystems present in the city of Coimbra.
In parallel, and converging with the artistic creation work we do at Marionet, our company is regularly associated with scientific events and projects, which allows us to act precisely at their intersection. This meeting will be a comprehensive platform for debate, bringing together renowned national and international scientists to create the conditions for building a healthier, more sustainable and fairer society, so we are very excited about our participation.
