During the last week of September, Marionet hosted in Casa das Artes da Fundação Bissaya Barreto the work of some artists that the company considers important and related to its own work. Exhibits, video projections and concerts, never seen before in the city of Coimbra, from artists who, in most cases, have already worked with the company or may work with us in the future due to the similarity of artistic approaches.
The selection of works includes the Berlin-based video-art editor “Graw Böckler”, the Portuguese exploratory music group “HHY & The Macumbas” which has impressed the music circuit having appeared in major stages and publications, and the highlight of the event, the exhibit “GRADAÇÕES DE TEMPO SOBRE UM PLANO” (Gradations of Time on a Plane) by the artists Mariana Caló and Francisco Queimadela, the latter exhibiting for the first time in his hometown.
The two concerts in the program are a co-production with the Rádio Universidade de Coimbra (University of Coimbra Radio), during their 25 year celebration.
