Inspired by the hairstyles of some of the world’s greatest hairdressers and by an image of the future as a result, in large part, of the rapid scientific advances of recent decades, “We Are Your ID” is a humorous representation of the Ilídio Design hairdressing salon in the year 2024.
Going to the hairdresser, we imagined, will be an even more exacerbated form of personality transformation, using hair neuroscience techniques developed at the Neuro Cap Lab, a research laboratory associated with the ID salon.

Marionet took part in the 30th anniversary celebrations of Ilídio Design Cabeleireiros, our patron and creative partner since 2003, with the performance ‘We Are Your ID’, a glimpse of the future of the hairdressing salon.
The event took place on 10 June at the Girasolum Shopping Centre in Coimbra and brought together a few other Coimbra artistic structures — A Escola da Noite, Bonifrates, Casa da Esquina, O Teatrão — the band a Jigsaw, and many other individual collaborators.
