Children and young people up this stream!

Over the two weeks from 6 to 17 July, two groups of children and young people visited Marionet and Ribeira da Madrigueira (Vale das Flores) to learn a great deal about the importance of preserving the riparian ecosystems that run through urban areas. Together with them, we brainstormed ideas, designed sets, came up with stories and created a couple of incredibly entertaining shows!

 

These workshops, which, as is our custom, combined theatre and science, are also part of the European OneAquaHealth project, of which Marionet is a partner, and which studies the interconnection between the health of urban watercourses and human wellbeing.
