We attended the SciCom conference once again.

At the end of last week, our Artistic Director, Mário Montenegro, took part in the latest edition of the SciCom conference, which brings together researchers and artists every year with the shared aim of communicating science.

 

Representing Marionet in the city of Évora, he presented “Theatre and bipolar disorder: communicating emotions” (focusing on Marionet’s show ‘Oxymoron, between Solstices and Equinoxes‘) and took part in two panel discussions: “When science takes to the stage” and “Science festivals as communication platforms: impact, audiences and the future”.

 

Once again, it was very important for our company to be present at a meeting place for scientists, communicators, educators, journalists, artists and members of the public, helping to promote cross-fertilisation and dialogue between different disciplines.
