Marionet in SciComPt2017

On 11 and 12 October we participated in the SciComPt2017 meeting, an yearly event organized by the Portuguese Association of Science Communicators.

 

We had the opportunity to share the work we’ve been doing transposing the scientific world into the artistic field in two occasions: with the communication “Science as an object for theatre: ways of interaction” and through the workshop “Science themed Theatre: a method of creation” where we shared the method we developed for the collaborative writing of plays together with scientists. This workshop was presented by our artistic director, Mário Montenegro, together with Sara Varela Amaral from the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology and Teresa Girão from the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra, two regular collaborators of Marionet.
