This conversation took place some days before the presentation of the show “NANO T“.
The talk began with the play’s director presenting and contextualising it within Marionet’s history and its journey of creating dialogues between art, science and technology. This was followed by Carlos Fiolhais, Professor at the Physics Department of the University of Coimbra, one of the guests the team visited during the construction of the play and who has been a regular presence in Marionet’s work since the company first created a play in dialogue with science, in this case “The Revolution of the Celestial Bodies” in 2001. Finally, Fernando Matos de Oliveira, the director of TAGV which was the show’s co-producer, had the opportunity to contextualise Marionet’s work and his expectations for this new premiere. These speeches were followed by an informal exchange of ideas between those present.
