Do Fóssil ao Fosso
Do Fóssil ao Fosso
Thelma Lopes
“By questioning why we unlearn to dialogue, Thelma builds, paradoxically and without realizing it, possible bridges of communication, through which science, art and empathy travel. ‘Do fóssil ao fosso’ (from the fossil to the pit) could be a mirror of our degradation. But it is an invitation to hope and the affirmation of our humanity.” — Andréa Pachá
Why do we unlearn how to dialogue? In a divided world full of irreducible certainties, reading Thelma Lopes’ chronicles offers a generous look at the human experience, inviting a deeper reflection on what really brings us together. In the words of Andréa Pachá, “by democratizing, with a dense and accessible text, the memories that humanize us, Thelma generously allows us to understand that art, science, justice, culture, affection, are knowledge derived from the same root. Through this sap, we feed our precarious, provisional condition and transform the banality of everyday life into a stupendous collective experience.”
