"The Epilepsy Algorithm" has come to an end
We were confident that the odds were on our side (those who attended, know well what we mean), but today we are absolutely sure that all the effort was very worthwhile.
In this show, the backdrop was epileptic disease, along with the latest technological innovations for its medical follow-up, supported by artificial intelligence. Bringing this theme to the stage was very challenging and the acknowledged success was due to a talented and tireless artistic and technical team. The sold-out premiere was followed by audiences eager to watch the intersection of theatre and science on stage. It was a great pleasure to have you with us!
And, when everything seemed to be over, we also had the opportunity to host a post-show conversation, which turned out to be a moment of immense sharing, between patients, spectators, and professionals of health, science, and theatre. Without losing the notion of the whole, we solidified once again the conviction that, in our work, it is fundamental not to lose focus on the individuality of each person.
For all this, besides an enormous thanks to all the partner entities that, with their support or funding, helped us to materialise this show, we want to leave a very special word for the DEI researcher, Mauro Pinto, for the challenge, the stimulus and the unending enthusiasm, and another to the Teatro da Cerca de São Bernardo / A Escola da Noite, for the warm welcome and fantastic co-production work.
