We read ‘The Same’ at the Botanical Garden

Three years and twenty readings later, we returned to the beautiful Alameda das Tílias in the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra for ‘Reading Theatre with Science‘. This time, the play that brought us together was Enda Walsh’s ‘The Same’, a text full of subtleties about two women who meet in a psychiatric institution.

 

After the reading, the group enjoyed the late afternoon with tea and biscuits, chatting about possible interpretations of the play and the impact it had on each person. If you would like to join the next session, mark 19 November in your diary…
