New Keynote Speaker for Theatre about Science Conference

The fourth keynote speaker for the 2023 International Conference “Theatre about Science” is confirmed.

The American Steve Abbott, who participated in the first edition of this international conference, returns now as keynote speaker.

A maths teacher in Vermont (USA), he was, as he says himself, “bewitched” by theatre when 20 years ago he was a consultant in the production of Arcadia, by Tom Stoppard (a play that you can find in our Documentation Centre on Performing Arts and Science). Since then he has dedicated himself to watching, researching and directing plays that involve mathematics.

Next November 2023 he will join Catherine Courtet, Emma Weitkamp and Liliane Campos in an unmissable panel of speakers, in what will be the second edition of the International Conference “Theatre about Science”.
