Distinction Award for the World Sleep Day Celebrations

Once again, the World Sleep Society (WSS) distinguished the World Sleep Day event in which Marionet performed one of its productions.

 

The event, “Quality Sleep, Sound Mind, Happy World”, organized by the CNC UC and the Portuguese Sleep Association, together with Marionet, was one of the ten worldwide events selected by the WSS, an organization dedicated to promoting sleep health worldwide.

 

The show performed by Marionet this year was “Morpheus and Apnea“, a play developed within the scope of the Unknownness Lab, whose creation and research work began in 2018 and already presented such results as the “Event of the Unknown“, in 2018, “The Dream Machine“, in 2019 – in a WSS award-winning event as well – and an evolution of that performance, “The Dream Machine – Scientific Theatrical Performance“.

 

The upcoming World Sleep Day, on 17 March 2023, will feature the documentary “Apnea“, that we are producing with the documentary filmmaker Laetitia Morais, focusing on obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
