Between the 30th and 31st meetings for Reading Theatre with Science, we’re holding an extra session at Marionet on 14 May (6pm) at Casa das Artes Bissaya Barreto. Unlike usual, this reading won’t be public and will only be attended by students from the degree course in Artistic Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (Portuguese Theatre course, under the responsibility of Professor Carlos Costa – Visões Úteis).

The theatre play to be read is ‘Love, lies and taxidermy’, by Welsh playwright Alan Harris, translated to Portuguese as part of the Collaborative Translation Project, a team for which we are always recruiting more people. As always, the original text, as well as the aforementioned translation, are available for consultation or loan at the Performing Arts and Science Documentation Centre.
